Our Story: Curated Foundations for Your Story
Welcome to Love & Layers Designs — a home for printable junk journal supplies, digital paper packs, and clipart bundles built for anyone who believes a blank page deserves a little history before you’ve even written on it.
I’m Shanon, the artist and designer behind every collection in the shop. What began as my own love for junk journaling and mixed media art grew into a full creative practice: designing digital supplies for paper crafters, scrapbookers, and mixed media artists who want their pages to feel layered, textured, and lived-in.
A Botanical Foundation
At the heart of Love & Layers is a love of vintage botanicals — hand-painted watercolor florals, soft heirloom neutrals, coastal garden blues, and blush rose-garden pinks. Collections like Vintage Dahlia Romance, Vintage Rose Garden, and Coastal Garden are where the shop’s voice really lives: warm, romantic, a little nostalgic, always rooted in the idea that a page can hold a memory the way a pressed flower does.
Every paper pack, ephemera kit, and folio is designed to be a creative foundation — something you can build a full journal spread around, whether you’re working on a keepsake project, a nature journal, or a quiet Sunday scrapbook session.
And When Autumn Arrives…
Every fall, the shop takes a turn down a darker garden path. My Gothic Victorian collections — Ladies of the Haunted Manor, Autumn Harvest Witches, Witching Hour, and the Victorian Haunted Manor Journal Kit — bring in candlelit color palettes, antique lace, and a touch of the macabre for crafters who want their October journals to feel like walking through an old manor at dusk. It’s the same love of vintage detail and rich texture, just dressed for Halloween.
Why I Do This
Because there’s something magical about turning a blank page into a tiny world — whether that world is a rose garden in bloom or a haunted hallway lit by candlelight. I design every collection hoping it gives your projects that same sense of story.
